Every piece here is handmade by artists at Santo Domingo (Kewa) Pueblo in New Mexico. Windmill Trading Company has traded directly with these families since 1977, and is a longtime member of the Indian Arts and Crafts Association. All materials are natural stone or shell — turquoise, jet, pipestone, melo shell, spiny oyster and coral. The owner still drives a trailer of supplies out to the pueblo from Albuquerque two to four days a week.

Made by Marie Aguilar with kingman turquoise. The "chicklets" are 1/4 inch square. The necklace is strung on3mm dark olive shell beads. It is 23 inches long adjustable to 26 inches.
Strung on 3 strands of white melo shell beads graduated from 10mm. The 3 placks are inlaid on jet with coral, turquoise, serpentine, jet and purple sugilite. The middle plack is 3 inches long by 1.75 inches wide, the side placks are 2.15 inches long and 1.25 inches wide. The necklace itself is 23 inches in length. Earrings to match are 2 inches long with the wire and 1/2 inche wide.
