Deanna Tenorio is a fine heishi maker, taught by her aunt and uncle Delbert and Mary Coriz of Kewa (Santo Domingo) Pueblo; her heishe patterns run to the natural colours of the earth. Robert Tenorio, his sister Calandra and his brother Howard Jr are noted for rounded beads, each one rounded by hand - time-consuming, and the reason the strands look the way they do. Their father Howard taught them all the trade.
