Most of the inlaid earrings and shells here are made by one of the Reano family, and they are a large one. Their older sister Angie Reano Owen is the best known; she taught all of them to do inlay, which she based on early Ancient Hohokam jewelry. Earrings are inlaid on moon shells and shells on Pecten shells, in turquoise, spiny oyster, lapis, jet, mother-of-pearl, sugilite and pipestone.

The pectin shell pendant is inlaid with pen shell and accents of turquoise, coral, serpentine and MOP shell. The strand necklace is made from jet stone accented with turquoise, melo shell, pipestone and serpentine. The beads are 4mm in diameter. It is 20 inches long. The shell is 3 inches long with the silver bail and 2.5 inches wide.
9 piece solid inlaid fan is made from jet, lapis. coral and MOP shell on one side and coral , dark-lip MOP shell, lapis and gold-lip MOP shell on the other side. It is 3.5 inches long in the middle and 3 inches wide. The necklace is srung on Lapis beads, 6mm in diameter and 19 inches long with one square bead made from jet, MOP shell and lapis 3/8 inch square and 1/4 inch thick.
These buttons are all different designs. Mostly turquoise with MOP and coral accents. They are inlaid on moon shell. Silver posts. 3/8 inch in diameter. Write for pictures to choose from.
