Jose RosettaJose Rosetta made all the jewelry on this page. He rarely leaves the village. He specializes in making plain heishe (shell beads) for a lot of the other artists at Santo Domingo Pueblo, who don't have time to make their own. Of course he also makes them for himself to sell finished. He lives at the village with his wife and young daughter.

Do to the handmade nature of bead work all bead sizes are approximate. Santo Domingo's do not use calipers - work is sized by eye.
