nlaid Shell Bolo Tie
Shell Bolo Tie. 3.5" in diameter. Inlaid on a spiny oyster shell and set in silver in a very traditional pattern. Inlaid materials are jet Mother-of-pearl and turquoise. These bolos (or shells) are traditionally worn for ceremonies. It is stamped on the back with the artists name and sign (a bear) Matt C, probably Coriz as it was pawned by a Coriz. The whole piece is hand made including the tips at Santo Domingo Pueblo.
